Just got back from my storage unit, where I recovered some precious items for my new home. Now that I have my favorite lamp, shower curtain, coffeemaker and astrology clock–not to mention the missing remote control and the suitcase for my upcoming Hawaii trip–I feel so happy. This is all I want for Valentine’s Day. Plus, of course, tomorrow’s visit from a mechanically-inclined Virgo friend, who is going to advise me on house repairs.

Tonight I talked to a friend who had just bought herself the Valentine’s gifts she would have wanted from a man. A rose, a stuffed animal, some pretty bracelets. And, she had cleared her phone of her former lover’s texts and pictures, and was about to text herself a loving message to receive tomorrow morning.

Mercury trines Saturn early on Valentine’s morning, setting a practical, thoughtful tone. And, love planet Venus is in Saturn’s sign of Capricorn, reinforcing the pragmatic theme. Yet the Moon in sensitive Cancer opposes both Venus and Pluto on Monday night, which can make for a touchy atmosphere. If your expectations aren’t met or you feel deprived, you could end up sad or frustrated–unless you prepare ahead of time by giving yourself what you want.

So, send yourself roses, buy your favorite chocolates or take yourself out to a fun event. Go for a walk in nature. Call those you love and tell them how you feel. Or, do something special for your favorite pet. Most of all, have a fabulous Valentine’s Day!
