For two years, Wayne Winters and his wife had been hoping for a kidney donor to save her from stage five kidney failure. But Winters was tired of waiting. So with passion in his heart and resolve in his 74-year-old bones, he took to the streets of Farr West, Utah last month with a sandwich board sign reading: “Need Kidney 4 Wife”. Every day, he walked for miles hoping that the right person would see his sign and be inspired to donate the life-saving organ.

Fate stepped in when a local TV station broadcast his story. The couple was inundated with calls and kidney offers – as many as 800 calls per day. Then, the Winters got the call they had been praying for. Ironically, the kidney did not come from one of the many offers the Winters had received. It came from an organ donor who had just passed away at the hospital. But Winters didn’t stop there. Emboldened by his success, he’s still pounding the pavement with his sandwich board sign – this time encouraging people to donate their kidneys to others in desperate need.

Without realizing it, Winters had stumbled upon the recipe for calling in a miracle: Passion + focus + persistence + trust. He had one single aim: to find a kidney for his wife. And, he took inspired, unrelenting action to make it happen – trusting that Spirit would find a way.

You, too, can use this formula to create a miracle. And, the extraordinary power of Saturday’s Scorpio New Moon can help. On November 18 at 3:42 am PST, the Sun and Moon join in the sign of death and rebirth. Also, Scorpio’s rulers Mars and Pluto square each other the next morning. That’s a lot of power and determination! There’s always a chance of violence or struggle when Mars and Pluto square off. Yet personal and financial relationships are also ripe for regeneration. If you’re willing to be transparent and go all out for what you need, trusting that it will come in its own timing, you could set your miracle in motion. Rather than biting spitefully like a scorpion, Scorpio in its higher form becomes a phoenix – the mythical creature arising, reborn, from the ashes. Are you ready to do the same?

The New Moon trines wounded healer Chiron, offering healing to those who are open to embracing their pain. And, Jupiter and Venus – which joined earlier this week in Scorpio – lend their beneficent vibes to help us rise from the ashes of the past and create miracles – in our own lives or the world at large. Whether you take to the streets with a sandwich board or make your intentions known in a subtler fashion, practice the formula and see what happens!
