I just watched a great little interview, in which the inspiring Regena Thomashauer (aka Mama Gena) shares how she begins all her staff meetings with what she calls the Holy Trinity. As they go around the circle, each person shares a brag (something they’re proud of), a gratitude (something they’re thankful for), and a desire (something they long for). Only then can the meeting begin.

This nifty practice gives everyone a turn to share what’s in their heart.  It’s a perfect illustration of the Leo-Aquarius polarity, which is all about balancing the individual with the group. That’s the theme of the upcoming Full Moon, when the Aquarius Moon opposes the Leo Sun (Friday Jan. 31, at 3:43 a.m. PDT).

There’s much hoopla about this being a “Blue Moon,” but to most astrologers that’s just a poetic notion. Much like New Year’s Day, a Blue Moon (signifying a second Full Moon in the same month) is, although somewhat rare, purely a Gregorian calendar phenomenon that gains its power by our collective focus. Still, we need all the magic we can get in this hyper-rational world. So here’s your chance to make merry with pals (Aquarius) and celebrate your uniqueness (Leo) at this Blue Moon – whose energy extends throughout the weekend.

Start by declaring your Holy Trinity, i.e.: I brag that I just sorted through my messy magazine images, cut out new ones, and neatly organized and categorized them all into three large, pretty boxes. Now I’m ready to teach collage classes out of my home! Speaking of which, I’m grateful for my beautiful home, which holds me in a loving embrace.

And, I desire to do more fun joint ventures with brilliant colleagues, like my intuitive friend Anna Francesca Celestino. Check out our entertaining and enlightening Cosmic Download forecast for August!
